New 6-month pilot project to deliver dedicated cyber security supports
Being nimble is something we see startups doing every day.
We’re lucky at WEtech not just to work with founders who adapt to every twist and turn, but to be able to adapt right alongside them.
When clients in emerging industries came to us needing help building trust with their first customers through stronger cyber security practices, we knew we had to get to work connecting the dots to deliver something impactful.
We’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve launched a new pilot program in partnership with the University of Windsor, with expert oversight and training from Sterling Information Technologies.
This program is designed to deliver six months of dedicated cyber security support and value. We’re testing it now to make sure it delivers exactly what our clients need before expanding it across our portfolio.
We chose Scelta to test this pilot because they’ve always given us honest, unfiltered feedback. That insight helps us build better, more impactful founder services. Their input is shaping what this program could become.
Scelta is early in their journey, which makes trust-building critical—especially with major clients. They’ve already proven they can deliver on their word, and pairing that with the credibility of the WEsecure pilot gives them a sharper competitive edge. That’s exactly the kind of support we strive to offer every founder we work with.
Here’s a look at what might be included in the final offering:
- First Response Cyber Threat Training
- EDR License (Endpoint Detection & Response)
- Contextual Risk Assessment – Identifies risks specific to your business
- Emergency Preparedness – Crisis simulations & scenario planning
- Security Operations Centre (SOC) as a Service – 6 months free
- Customized Risk Assessment Report & Guidelines, including:
- Risk Prioritization
- Action Plan Development
- Gap Mitigation Tasks
- Stakeholder Updates
